Jack Reacher Official HD Trailer

  Tom Cruise has been in the news for another reason this past week, but his newest action blockbuster also got a new trailer. Jack Reacher, directed by Oscar-winning scribe Chistopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects), looks like a Drive rip-off with the Mission Impossible star in the Gosling seat. The trailer shows Cruise fondling his GTO's gear shift and peeling out, suggesting the love story in this one may not even include a leading lady. We're also treated to a heavy dose of T.C. ass-kicking and adrenalin bursts, but nothing looks very new here. Hopefully, the next trailer will explain some of the plot that finds the ex-Mr. Holmes as a homicide detective on the trail of a sniper. I'm trusting McQuarrie will make this one more than the typical cop flick and it's always stupid fun to see anyone in a Charles Bronson/Steven Seagal role.
