The first trailer of director Vishal Bhardwaj's next film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is out. It stars Imran Khan, Anushka Sharma, Pankaj Kapur and Shabana Azmi in lead roles. The promo begins with one of the director's favourite actors Pankaj Kapur in a rural set-up. Imran Khan's rustic bearded look and Anushka Sharma's 'wild child' character promises all the ingredients of a typical Vishal Bhardwaj film. The trailer sets the mood for an interesting and entertaining watch with an intriguing storyline. It has flashes of Vishal Bhardwaj's previous movies like Omkara, The Blue Umbrella and Makdee. The film is slated to hit theatres on January 11, 2013.
