The night before, the 39-year-old Indian actress donned a gold and cream-colored sari for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala.

“[Motherhood] is wonderful. You ask the question and I beam!” Aishwarya told reporters at the star-studded soiree about her 6-month-old daughter,Aaradhya.

“It’s splendid,” she added. “It’s inexplicable. The joy, the bliss, is wonderful. A smile from my daughter and that’s it! She’s good. She’s great.”
